My name is Laurie Arnold and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Colorado. I offer supportive and compassionate counseling for individuals, couples, and families working through challenging life issues. If you find yourself struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic illness or disability, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, dissatisfaction, unexpected crisis, or unfulfilled life goals, you are welcomed here. We will work together in a gentle and non-judgmental manner to identify your goals and take steps towards the change you desire.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Colorado (License #906). I received a Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado.
I have worked for several years with families addressing relational discord, addiction, medical challenges, grief, and adjustment.
My training in family systems leads me to have a systemic perspective with all of my clients. Whether you come as an individual, couple or larger family group, I will seek to understand the context from which you have come and how all of the various systems in your life impact you, your relationships, and your goals.
As the parent of a special needs child I am especially passionate about working with families affected by disability and/or medical illness. I have experienced first hand the impact disability and illness have on individuals and relationships within families. Seldom do parents, siblings, and extended family receive the support they need when faced with chronic illness or disability in a child or loved one. My hope is to be a source of support and validation for families finding themselves in this often difficult and unknown situation.
I am a Colorado native. I live north of Denver with my husband, daughter, and our bull-mastiff.
